The Role

Our AMG- Maintenance Team are looking to here from an experienced Mechanical Technical Writer to join our Head Office – Osborne Park-based team.

Report to the Asset strategy and reliability Superintendent, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance & dissemination of all technical documentation required for the critical functioning of our mobile & fixed plant assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of document management for the Asset Management Group including but not limited to the development, review, updates, amendments, & dissemination of all AMG documentation.
• Ensuring that all AMG documentation is developed and maintained in compliance with the required standards, including, but not limited to;
  • • MRL, AMG & Client Processes / Procedures
    • Australian & International Standards
    • Regulatory Bodies
    • OEM Recommendations & Requirements
    • State & Federal Legislation
    • Industry Best Practice
• Compliance with MRL Organisational Governance & Legislative obligations
• Adhere to and display leadership of your Duty of Care to MRL Governing Frameworks consisting of Management Plans & Procedure

What you’ll bring to the team?

• Mechanical Trade qualification or Engineering / Asset Management tertiary qualification essential
• Relevant mechanical equipment experience
• Demonstrated experience with;
  • Technical writing/engineering writing
  • Technical document, compliance & control
• Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of;
  • Asset management principles & standards
  • Enterprise risk, safety, quality, & assurance business systems
  • Australian standards / legislative obligations across various disciplines
• Strong proficiency with the entire MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Possess a strong mechanical acumen
• Sound collaborative communication skills
